Pastor Bryant is not your average pastor! We love his upbeat, ready to laugh spirit and he always keeps us on our toes. He truly believes that we are all children of God and that we are each a part of the Body of Christ!
As a graduate of Boston University School of Theology, he takes his cues from the prophetic tradition which calls us to share the heart of God when we see folks left out and left behind; discriminated against or oppressed. As Jesus himself said, “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because she has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. She has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free and to announce the year of the Lord’s favor.”
Some of his biggest Christian role models are Martin Luther King jr., Dorothy Day, and Mother Theresa. He is a member of the reconciling ministries network and thus stands firm that human sexuality and gender identity are not barriers to God love but unique and important expressions of the nature of God’s love and God’s complexities seen through all of us.
When not actively pastoring, Pastor Bryant also enjoys training Jiu-Jitsu, listening to podcasts, reading books, and playing guitar. His wife, Kristina, and his daughter, Camila, are his biggest joys in life.
